Congratulations to Alex Charette!

A CFL rookie, Charette caught three passes for the second straight game. His three receptions included a long of 12 yards, and a total of 22 yards, as the Alouettes hung on to beat the Tiger-Cats at Percival Molson Stadium. Last week, he had three receptions for 23 yards in the Als loss to the Blue Bombers. TSN colour guy Duane Forde also gave Charette a shout out for an excellent block he made to allow a teammate to pick up more yardage.

Career Total 6 45 7.5 12 0

Charette is only four games into his CFL career and already getting plenty of opportunities, not just on special teams but on offense. He seems to be developing some chemistry with rookie QB Rakeem Cato as well as earning his confidence. His play has to make GM Jim Popp smile. Popp has said that the Als rated Charette the best receiver available in the 2015 draft and took a calculated risk waiting until the 4th round to select him.
