Guelph Ticats launch

Ticats_Guelph_LOGO copyThe Hamilton Tiger-Cats held their official launch ‘party’ at the Cutten Fields Country Club yesterday. I was lucky to be one of the “who’s who” who was invited. I hope to write more about it tonight. But for now I will simply share some links. I imagine many of you saw or heard some of the news coverage via television or radio. There was a lot media present. If I had been one to underestimate the publicity and national exposure that the Ticats’ presence will bring the City and University of Guelph [I wasn’t by the way], I would already have changed my mind.

Check out the Guelph Mercury’s news article – Tiger-Cats kick-off their year in Guelph – and an editorial – Ticats nail kickoff in Guelph.

Articles in the Hamilton Spectator – Steve Milton’s Ticats season in Guelph promises to be unpredictable and quirky and Scott Tracey’s Ticats not just visiting — Guelph is home this season, audience hears at CFL team’s official launch.

And from CHCH TV – http://chch.com/home/item/11881-stray-ticats-do-special-launch-lunch-in-guelph.
