The Gryphon Cheerleading squad has achieved a major goal for this season. The young ladies won a national championship in the All-Girl category at this weekend’s University & Open National Cheerleading Championships at Brampton’s Powerade Center. Congratulations to Jess Bruce and her crew!
The national championship is the first ever for an all-girl Guelph cheerleading team. The Gryphon Cheer squad finished second at this event last year. The Gryphons have also brought back a co-ed cheer team for the first time in many years. In this, their first competition, the co-ed squad finished fourth among seven. View the results here.
