A five year starter on his high school team, Jordyn Mittoo of Mississauga’s Father Goetz CSS, has been a key contributor for the Gators on defense and special teams. Mittoo, a 5’10” 170lb DB prospect, played four of those five seasons on the varsity squad. Over those five seasons – 2007 thru 2011 – he was a voted a player-of-the-week 16 times. The past three seasons he has been a team captain. Mittoo is a nominee for Defensive Player of the Year at Fr Goetz in 2011.
Mittoo played one season of Bantam football in the Mississauga Football League. Followed by a season with the Mississauga Thundering Herd. Then two years with the Mississauga Warriors of the OVFL. He was a starting cornerback for the Warriors at the JV level in 2010. Then in 2011 Mittoo started at safety for the Varsity Warriors. When the GTA & GHR all star teams clash again on May 6, Jordyn Mittoo will be there. He earned a selection to the GTA Top 100 in the inaugural season. This year he will be on the field when the GTA tries to even the series.
